LONG TERM RECOVERY COMMITTEE
Jones County is currently seeking applicants to serve on the Long-Term Recovery and Resilience Council’s Board of Directors. This board plays a key role in guiding disaster recovery efforts, supporting community resilience planning, and ensuring resources are distributed fairly after major events. Residents with a passion for helping their community—especially those from areas heavily impacted by past disasters—are encouraged to apply. Quarterly meetings, meaningful service.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
The Jones County Economic Development Commission works to enhance and promote the economic growth of our community. It focuses on attracting new businesses, supporting the expansion of existing businesses, and creating job opportunities for local residents. JUVENILE CRIME PREVENTION COUNCIL

The Jones County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is dedicated to reducing and preventing juvenile delinquency by identifying at-risk youth and providing resources to support their development. Working in collaboration with community leaders, law enforcement, schools, and service providers, the JCPC helps fund and oversee intervention, prevention, and rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of local youth.
