QUICK LINKS: Civic Center Home | Civic Center FAQ

The Jones County Civic Center is proudly owned and operated by Jones County, North Carolina.  This facility provides an opportunity for events to be held in Jones County that may not otherwise be possible in our small, rural community. If you like kayaking, canoeing, boating, bird watching, or fishing, visit the Trent River or Brock Mill Pond while you are here. The nearby (1.2 miles) Brock Mill Pond also makes a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

Our 18,000 square-foot venue is a multi-purpose facility and is versatile enough to accommodate all types of entertainment and meetings. With a large, well lit parking lot it can accommodate over 160 vehicles.  The Civic Center is available to businesses, governmental agencies, schools, and private individuals for professional and private events. We welcome your weddings, reunions, concerts, dance performances, drama productions, industrial trade shows, and other forms of entertainment.

Our large auditorium is 11,644 square foot, and has capacity of 900-1,200 people. A 2,100 square-foot professional stage with  dressing rooms on each side plus mirrors and private restrooms provide a total stage area of 2,870 square feet. The auditorium has a professional lighting and sound system including sound boards for any type of production.

The small 3,600 square-foot auditorium has a capacity of 200-300 people. The room includes a stage, projector (for an extra fee), and internet services (wireless or cable).

Tables and chairs are provided at no additional cost as well as a podium if needed.  For an additional fee, microphones are available. Our Civic Center Rental Cost Estimator (linked below) may help you decide if the Civic Center is the right venue for you. We look forward to the opportunity to host your event.
