Community Closet
Jones County Community Closet
The Jones County Community Closet is a community sharing resource of Jones County Consolidated Human Services, offering donated clothing at no cost through pop-up shopping events. Jones County residents are always welcome, and shoppers from other counties are welcome as inventory allows. Please bring your own bags—trash bags work great!
Between events, the Closet also helps with urgent clothing needs, including foster and kinship placements, house fires, disasters, and unexpected displacement, as inventory allows.
Donations and volunteers make it possible. We welcome clean, gently used clothing, especially boys’ and girls’ sizes 7 and up. All clothing is donated; no tax dollars are used to purchase clothing for distribution.
Recipient of the 2026 NACo Achievement Award and NCACC Civic Excellence in Innovation Award.
