The purpose of Jones County EMS is to provide emergency and non-emergency care to the sick and injured located within the county. This care is provided at the Advance Life Support level which includes Paramedic Certification, and staff work under the license and authority of the Medical Director. We operate two 24-hour EMS units.  The Jones County EMS Director serves as a coordinator between the County, volunteer, and private EMS services in Jones County.

There are six volunteer EMS Departments in Jones County:

  • Trenton Volunteer EMS
  • Wyse Fork Volunteer EMS
  • Maysville Volunteer EMS
  • Pollocksville Volunteer EMSP
