The Human Resources Department is responsible for the management of human resource appointments, salary administration, and records and status changes for Jones County employees. The department is accountable for the planning, development, implementation and modification of the Jones County personnel policies and procedures and ensures compliance with the provisions of state and federal regulations. The department is also responsible for workers compensation reporting and investigations, as well as personnel and payroll duties for county employees.
