PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the proposed Jones County Budget for Fiscal
Year 2026–2027 was presented to the Board of County Commissioners on May 1,
2026. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the
County Manager’s Office. Printed copies may be viewed by appointment by
contacting the Clerk to the Board at 252-448-7571. A public hearing on the
proposed budget was held on June 1, 2026, and no action was taken by the board.
A budget workshop will be held on June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. followed by a public
hearing on the proposed budget on June 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of
Commissioners’ Meeting Room, located at 110 S. Market Street, Trenton, North
Carolina 28585.
