NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO announce the proposed Jones County Budget for fiscal year 2024-2025 was delivered to the Board of County Commissioners on May 1, 2024. A copy of the budget will be available for public inspection in the County Manager’s office. The public may view a printed copy of the budget by making an appointment. To make an appointment, please call the Clerk to the Board at 252-448-7571. Workshops for the budget will begin on May 15, 2024, and will continue through approximately May 31, 2024. A copy of the schedule for the workshops will be available in the County Manager’s Office. A Public Hearing will be held on June 3, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the County Commissioners’ meeting room located at 110 Market Street, Trenton, North Carolina 28585.
