Recovery Support

Recovery is possible—and no one should have to walk that path alone.

In Jones County, we believe that every person deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to heal. Whether you are personally navigating substance use, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for guidance, we are here to help—without judgment.

Recovery looks different for everyone. It can begin with a conversation, a connection, or a small step forward. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where individuals and families can find support, access resources, and build hope for the future.  We are committed to reducing stigma and meeting people where they are—because asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.  If you or someone you care about needs support, please reach out. You are not alone, and your recovery matters.

Family Mentor/Peer Support

The Reentry Council of Lenoir, Greene, & Jones Counties brings together individuals and organizations to support formerly incarcerated/justice-involved individuals from these three counties as they return to their communities. By connecting them with vital resources such as employment, housing, and support programs, the council helps them rebuild their lives. Through collaboration and innovative solutions, it works to reduce recidivism, enhance public safety, and ensure individuals and their families receive the support needed for a fresh start.

The Reentry Council supports individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration or involvement with the justice system. Get connected with resources such as:

  • Job training and employment
  • Housing Assistance
  • Education and skill-building
  • Substance use and mental health support
  • Legal aid and community mentorship

If you reside in Lenoir, Greene or Jones County, please complete the Reentry Council of Lenoir, Greene, & Jones Counties Interest form. We appreciate your patience and will respond within three business days.
