Fingerprinting

Fingerprints are completed at the Jones County Jail Administration Office located at:

107-A E. Lakeview Dr.
Trenton, NC 28585

(Located behind the post office and courthouse, white building with a handicap ramp. Look for sign on front of building that says “Jail Administration.”)

Fingerprints are available by Appointment only. Citizens must complete an on-line application to request an appointment. The fee is $10.00 and is paid by credit/ debit card. There is a convenience fee added by the vendor. This fee is NOT collected by the Sheriff’s Office.

This section is NOT to be used for Concealed Handgun Permits! You MUST apply for a concealed weapon permit which is handled through the Concealed Weapon Application link.

If you are getting fingerprinted for employment purposes, please fill out the employer section of the application. Please bring any paperwork sent by your employer to your appointment.
