Bid Opportunity – Urgent Repair Program 2024

Jones County is announcing one additional Urgent Repair Program 2024 (URP 24) project available for contractor bidding.

Important Notes:

Unlike URP 26 (which begins in the coming months and will allow projects to be bid in pieces), URP 24 requires a complete bid on the entire scope of work. Partial bids (e.g., for windows only) will not be accepted.

Contractors must be on the Jones County URP Contractor Registry in order to submit a bid. Contractors not currently on the registry should contact Jennifer King to request information or a bid packet.

Site Visits:
Contractors may contact the homeowner to schedule a time to view the home and review the project. Contractors must call ahead before visiting, as the homeowner has a dog that can be aggressive. The homeowner’s phone number is listed on the bid sheet.
