Notice of Public Hearing – Proposed Amendment to the Subdivision Ordinance
The Jones County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to receive public comments on a proposed amendment to Section 106 – Definition of Subdivision of the Jones County Subdivision Ordinance.
The proposed amendment clarifies what constitutes a subdivision and outlines specific exceptions that are not subject to county subdivision regulations. The amendment includes updated language regarding lot divisions, recombinations, right-of-way dedications, and divisions made through wills or intestate succession.
