PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the proposed Jones County Budget for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 was presented to the Board of County Commissioners on May 1, 2026. A copy of the proposed budget is available for public inspection in the County Manager’s Office. Printed copies may be viewed by appointment by contacting the Clerk to the Board at 252-448-7571. Budget workshops will begin on May 6, 2026, and continue through approximately May 29, 2026. A schedule of the workshops is available in the County Manager’s Office. A public hearing on the proposed budget will be held on June 1, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room, located at 110 S. Market Street, Trenton, North Carolina 28585.
