Annual Board Retreat
The Jones County Board of Commissioners will hold its annual board retreat on Monday, February 16, 2026, beginning at noon.
Because the Board’s first February meeting was canceled due to inclement weather, the retreat will begin with three public hearings related to the County’s intent to apply for CDBG grant funding. The first hearing will be a general CDBG Public Hearing, the second will address the CDBG-CV program, and the third will be specific to the CDBG-ED program.
The Board will also vote on the approval of the sale of property parcel #543892292100 for $10,200.00 and property parcel #442776768400 for $3,450.00. These properties were listed for sale through an electronic auction on GovDeals.com.
Additionally, the board will vote on approval for additional state funding for the WIC program.
The Board retreat will be held at 2314 Wyse Fork Road, Trenton, NC 28585. This meeting is open to the public.
