North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Jones County Center is an educational partnership helping people put research-based knowledge to work for economic prosperity, environmental stewardship and an improved quality of life. Our partnership includes the U.S. Department of Agriculture, North Carolina State University, North Carolina A & T State University and Jones County Government. The Jones County Center extends the resources of our partners to the people of Jones County.
The Jones County Extension Staff provides information and a variety of informal learning opportunities that benefit farmers, families, youth, senior adults and community/civic leaders. We utilize an Advisory Leadership System which consists of local citizens that represent all areas of the county. These advisory members help guide and direct the programming efforts of Jones County Cooperative Extension based on the needs of the citizens of the county. Our major program areas are:

The Jones County Cooperative Extension Staff consists of agents who cover Agriculture, Aquaculture, Commercial Horticulture, 4-H/Youth Development, Family and Consumer Sciences and Livestock. These agents are supported by two staff member who ensure that anyone who contacts our office receives excellent customer service.
