REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

The County of Jones is soliciting requests for qualifications for professional engineering
services to assist the County of Jones with preparation of a hydraulic model
for the County’s pressure sewer system assets along NC Highway 58 south of
Trenton. Pressure sewer system assets include, but are not limited to,
approximately three miles of force mains of various sizes and approximately 5
wastewater pumping stations connected to the force mains. Payment terms will be
negotiated with the selected firm. The fees for professional engineering
services will be paid with County funds.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR STREAM DEBRIS REMOVAL ON THE TRENT RIVER

The Jones County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals for stream debris removal on the Trent River in Jones County, North Carolina.

SCOPE OF SERVICES. The stream debris removal shall consist of removing and disposition of trees, logs, stumps, snags, shrubs, brush, aquatic weeds and other obstructions from the flow area of the natural or excavated channel. Contractors shall be responsible for complying with all applicable permitting requirements. All debris removed from stream or stream area must be removed from the 100-year floodplain or processed in a manner that the debris would not pose a risk of blockage or significant impairment of normal streamflow during a subsequent flood event.

DEADLINE:  Electronic bids must be received by close of business, 5:00 p.m. on November 25, 2024.
