Member appointed by Board of Commissioners
Appointment in accordance with GS 122C-118.1 that meet one of the following criteria:
- Health care expertise and experience in the fields of mental health, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or substance abuse services
- Health care administration expertise consistent with the scale and nature of the managed care organization
- Financial expertise consistent with the scale and nature of the managed care organization
- Insurance expertise consistent with the scale and nature of the managed care organization
- Social services expertise and experience in the fields of mental health, intellectual, or other developmental disabilities or substance abuse services
- Attorney with health care expertise
- Administrator of hospital providing mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance emergency services
