NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please be advised that the Jones County Board of Commissioners shall hold three public hearings on October 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as this matter may be reached, at the Jones County Agricultural Building, 110 S Market Street, Trenton, North Carolina. The purpose of the public hearings are to consider changes and amendments to the Manufactured Home Park Ordinance, consider changes and amendments to the Ordinance Regulating the Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Solar Energy Facilities, and to consider a new Ordinance Regulating Campgrounds and Tiny Home/Park Model Parks.
The proposed ordinances may be inspected by the public during regular business hours Monday through Friday in the office of the County Manager located at 110 Market Street, Trenton, NC 28585. All persons interested in this matter should appear before the Board at said time and place for the purpose of expressing their views in regard to this. This notice is published pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. 160D-601(a).
